Oh yeah! I have started a new blog! Well the reason being I want to dedicate a blog to my reading and my previous blog is too filled up with my nail arts and I have feedback from readers prefering me not to include my non-nails post so here's a blog for me to write up on what I am reading and what I have read!
I will be slowly filling it up with reviews of books so keep a lookout for them!
A few things about me...
My name is Juliet and I am an active member on Goodreads.
I developed a passion for reading since I was in nursery as my mum loves visiting the library and I always tagged along and have at least four books under my arms when I stepped out of the library. I am a pretty fast reader (that's what I think!) and on an average, I read about 10 books a month (hey! That's pretty a lot for someone who has a full time job!). I'm pretty proud of that as most of my friends doesn't read as much as I do (that's why I need a blog to talk about books to people like me!).
One thing you must know, I am very critic in my reviews. This means that if a book is bad to me, it's bad. I wouldn't try to cover it up by saying it's okay. And if I really like a book and it's wonderful, I will be praising it all day long to anyone who is willing to give it a try.
My favorite genres are historical romance (alpha male rocks!), chick lit (sometimes we just need some light reads and laughter between the serious books), cozy mysteries (fast paced and hilarious), dystopia (Hunger Game rocks!) and mystery/suspense (who doesn't like this??).
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of paranormal and erotic books. I have had enough of Twilight and Fifty Shades. I couldn't even finished these two series! Well of course I've tried other books under these genres too but I just couldn't complete those books...
Last but not least, every reviews and comments in this blog made by me are honest opinion of myself and is in no way to directly harm or sabotage anyone so I would appreciate everyone to read my blog with an open mind and any hate message from author's fans for my negative reviews of the books will be deleted without notice (Yeah! I want my freedom of speech!). So now, let's enjoy my crude but funny blog.
